It's time for Treta Championship IV Aftermath! After the storm, there is indeed a rainbow. After the destruction, we brought ourselves back from the wreckage, and from them we seek the strength to fight and evolve. This is the idea behind the 4th installment of the event in 2013.

 

The biggest brazilian fighting game tournament – which grows bigger each year – had in its third edition a little bit of a bad taste from the defeat to international competitors out of countries such as USA, Taiwan and Japan. The Aftermath edition comes above all with the desire to get the runback and show that we have trained and improved.

 

Treta Aftermath will happen on September 7th and 8th of 2013. And, this time, the ring will be the Deville Rayon Curitiba Hotel. The players will be able to take advantage of the whole structure of the venue, that has two ballrooms to support up to 400 people, ballrooms in which the tournament matches will be held. Those who already know about the event knows about the commitment with perfection from the TO staff, and this year will be no different: we will have personalized badges to each player, and judges running every match to provide players with any support they might need. Besides, all 10 stations will have standardized monitors provided by our partner BenQ, avoiding any kind of latency-related issues and ensuring the proper quality for our setups.

 

Those who won't be able to make it to Treta will be able to follow the action online, since the tournament has an online bracket which will be updated in real-time. Besides that, the tournament will also have a live stream, provided by SuperChampz (www.twitch.tv/superchampz), showing both matches and crowd reaction, thanks to our whole filming staff.

 

You will also be able to get a deeper understand of the matches thanks to the Treta Aftermath commentators, which will support each tournament with their extent knowledge on their games, so you can know what is going on each step of the way. Those who are at the venue will not be forgotten, since we'll also have a huge screen on a stage broadcasting the best matches and ensuring the hype atmosphere in the ballrooms.

 

The winners will get even bigger rewards, since Treta Aftermath will go from the current level of prizes and further (more than 15 thousand reais in prizes). In addition to that, we'll have a lot of prizes for our attendees, booths selling custom fightsticks and other items from our sponsors. Side events could not be left out of the event. We know that a lot of our participants are hardcore or just passionate about games that are not mainstream. However, that is not a reason for them not to get their shot of playing those games at a tournament! This year, the side tournaments will be:

IMPORTANT: the entrants for the side tournaments will be a minimum of 8 players and a maximum of 32. The exception goes for Injustice and TTT2, which will have a limit of 64 entrants.

Note for players outside of Curitiba: about the Hotel

 

The Deville Rayon Curitiba is a great hotel, with rooms for two or three people, and breakfast included. We also have an agreement with the Deville Curitiba, which is located 50 meters from the venue, and features a lounge and a great space overall as well. Those who are competing in the tournament can get a room there smoothly, since we got a partnership, not to say about the location of the hotels (downtown). Check, however, if there are still rooms available.

We will also keep our multi-game package registrations, just like last year, as an incentive for you to play every game you wish to. We did the best we could in terms of a cost/benefit ratio for the tournament, inside what we could do and our budget. These are the packages for tha main events:
